A difficult set of portraits which had to be photographed in a very short space of time before the subjects were interviewed for a book.
All had to be shot on location, (often in the subject's own home), with whatever light was available, which in some cases was very little.
The portraits appear in the book 'Making Music in Britain - Interviews with Those Behind the Notes' by Elizabeth Haddon.
